It's cold damn cold, but I just learned something amazing about success, that make me feel hot, damn hot. I would suggest reading the book Strengths finder 2.0. and learn to focus on your strengths and heed much less attention to your weaknesses. Better yet, in learning to focus on your strengths, check the simplicity of focusing on your friends, family members, loved ones, their strengths explicitly, and often. It's a total game changer, I've started and things are changing so quickly its eerie.
So I'll just post another video tomorrow you can listen.
Any suggestions on music you guys would like to hear me attempt for you please forward any requests I'll do my best to do it Sammy justice and I'll be your little monkey with the symbols for a bit. I love to entertain so bring it. Love to you all stay warm good God, and find some awesome nookie cuddle up and sit back it's coming down.

Pacific Transplant Project Underway
Hello all-
I'm writing to fill you in on a great update in the world of Sammy. To bring you up to snuff on where we're heading together let me recap the quick highlights of the past year.
2009 hailed for us and is not over just yet but yielded many fruitful events, and acclimation of some great new friends who are now part of the extended family. To sum up;
1. I PLAYED AT RED ROCKS! for Monolith 2009 oh yes I got to say the most infamous words ever "RED ROCKS how you DOING!" -note that I will refine my goals for next year, to include Playing a long headline set on the main stage.
2. MOVED out of the house music industry a bit and started cultivating a new acoustic sound that is so connected to my soul words don't describe.
3. Moved out of old house with bad mojo to new house with amazing new crew, well one at first we have a couple coolies kicking it with us temporarily. (May seem arbitrary, but has changed my world completely allowing me to really go after my dreams, strongly suggested to anyone that wants to flourish.)
4. I learned how to be a loan officer.
5. I got a new guitar/computer/amp/Bessie/Macbook Pro ready to go.
6. I REALIZED I don't want to be a loan officer.
7. Started to do what I love teaching others how to play music, via guitar, and vocals.
8. ....finally OPENED UP THE PACIFIC TRANSPLANT PROJECT (PtP)......
I've been fortunate to the likes I don't understand at times, and I can only say that it is now time to take action on the strings that have been tugging at the soul. I've spent hundreds of hours mulling over what way to go about this, and it's clear after a few fruitless phone calls to the Philippines, it's going to be a jump in and get your hands on. With some very cautious direction, and planning my team and I are gearing up the PtP. I can't wait to share it with you.
I am going to be putting my heart and soul into helping reach many of the children that are currently homeless in the Philippines, and or living in orphanages throughout the country.
Currently much of Manila, the Capital is under water right now, due to Typhoons. The City of Manila (Tagalog: Lungsod ng Maynila), or simply Manila or Maynila, is the capital of the Philippines and one of the 17 cities and municipalities that make up Metro Manila. The last typhoon to rock the country Lupit, has left over 629,000 FAMILIES homeless, affecting over 1,000,000 people in Manila alone.
I am currently working hard to raise funds to get back to the Philippines, and aimed my initial visit at Manila in the first part of December, and was looking forward to seeing some of the orphanages that we would be helping. This first trip will serve 2 purposes. First and of paramount importance to me is to find out some background on myself, where I'm from, who my biological parents may have been. I believe those are always great answers to find on oneself in any circumstance. The second is to start the process of setting up the infrastructure in bringing aide to the children of this country laden in disaster. I am currently doing my due diligence on who to contact about child services in Manila and am receiving a lot of great direction. If you have anything that you think would help in expediting this process please contact me with anything you know will help, I can be reached anytime at the following. sammyt303@aol.com or FB me at link listed here. I welcome all thoughts prayers and coming soon we'll set up the donation windows but as stated before we will need to set up the infrastructure first. This is going to be amazing I can't wait to open your minds a little bit more to what makes me and more importantly the people and culture that is the Philippines. Love you guys new music coming.

23Years Old this week.......32 damn!

April 14th is a fairly historic day, Titanic sank, Lincoln was shot, the Taggett's fulfill their first Filipino son drop ship order, sort of. At the heart of it Samuel Taggett came to be, and for that I feel blessed.
Couple fun things happened to me this year as I turned the next page in life's book, Wasabi was neutered, I wrote a new song, sold some magnets, got wasted in the park with all of my friends, worked on my juggling skills, went to a basketball game post Mellow arrest, tripped at the Rockies home opener, made some money, and realized again and again that life sure is grand!
I also spent $809$ on dinner, which is now officially the most expensive dinner I have had to date. The waitress brought us the wrong bottle of wine so it was technically a 169$ meal for 2, still putting me well out of my Boston Market 1/4 dark meal range. If you order from the Ruth Chris Fine book of wine using the numbers assigned to each, remember 1410 is not the $62 bottle of Shiraz, but Dall Val Maya '01, list price $655.00, needless to say it's good. After numerous exchanges with our waitress, and finding that she is an aspiring school teacher at a Montessori school in Broomfield, and that she's sick sick sick of her job at Ruth Chris, where she does not have tenure, she magically made the bottle disappear-poof. Which insured she got a gracious donation from the "DAMN that was expensive, Taggett appreciation fund." It might be worth mentioning the lucky girl on this dining extravaganza was Cassandra, see in set picture, she's the the smart one when we go out, she found all of this to be a cute seemingly consistent theme to our budding friendship. We're fine wine....sometimes overpriced sometimes misplaced, but always drank. Thanks Cassandra your swell, I adore you, murf!
I have had many things to be super excited for over the last couple months, music at the forefront of those. But those are my highlights over the last week, hope this finds everyone smiling and well, Try the Dall Val Maya '01 it's good.
New music is on the upswing and will be posted and ready for your listening pleasure in the next blog, so until then Peace Love and Tennis balls.

Heart Smackaroo

With advent of the spring I'm feeling the pangs of dating young women, cause it's challenging they are young and I am not as young as I would like to believe I am. There I said it! I'm trying to grow up ahhhh!. Well sort of.
I am gonna have to admit that having a new cat has been very very fun and despite the constant crap scooping and handsome scratches its been very rewarding. Wasabi is growing up very fast and we are proud of him.
That's all I got for ya world, women challenging cat great!
